FRANKLIN, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team ended up 14th against a strong field at the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship. Chattanooga shot 938 over 54 holes at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.

UTC ended up 11 shots behind Tulane in 13th and 45 ahead of Memphis in 15th. Arizona (889) captured the team title, while Emilie Burger of Georgia was medalist (E, 216).

Junior Jordan Britt (Chattanooga, Tenn.) led the Mocs with a 54-hole total of 229 (+13). That was good for a tie for 28th.

Freshman Emily McLennan (Queensland, Australia) tied for the second-lowest UTC round of the event with a three-over par 75 today. She completed her tourney at 232, just three behind Britt.

Marion Duvernay (Publier, France) was third for the Mocs at 241, She was a stroke ahead of Mette Kryger (Nivaa, Denmark) at 242. Porsche Campbell (Vancouver, Canada) was another four shots behind Kryger at 246.

Chattanooga has a long layoff until its next event traveling just up the road to Knoxville for the Mercedes-Benz Women's Championship. The tournament starts Friday, October 12, and runs through Sunday, the 14th. Live scoring, if available, can be accessed at GoMocs.com via the women's golf schedule page.
