- The Chattanooga Mocs won their 16th Dr Pepper Classic with an 86-80 win over Maine tonight. UTC improves to 6-8 overall while the Black Bears drop to 2-10.

Mason stopped the bleeding with a layup at the 6:43 mark, but Maine took the lead (69-68) on a Reid-Kinght three on the next possession with 6:24 left to play.

- Fourth double-double of the season…11th of his career.
- Added three blocks.
Gee McGee – So.-G
- Double-double with 17 points and 10 assists.
- Most assists by a Moc since Keegan Bell had 12 against Western Carolina on Jan. 5, 2012.
- First double-double with assists by a Moc since Bell (10 pts., 16 a) against Longwood in the opening game of the 2011 Dr Pepper Classic on Dec. 29.
- Second career double-double.
- Had a total of 14 points in the previous four games.
