MADISON, Miss. --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team is fourth after 36 holes Monday at the BancorpSouth Intercollegiate hosted by Ole Miss at the Reunion Golf and Country Club. UTC is at even par 576 after rounds at 287 and 289.
Mississippi State is the leader at 16-under 560. Southeastern Louisiana checks in second at 574 followed by Central Arkansas at 575 and the Mocs another stroke back at 576.
Steven Fox (Hendersonville, Tenn.) posted twin rounds of 69 for a six-under par total of 138. He is tied for second with Joe Sakulpolphaisan of Mississipi State, four shots behind Central Arkansas' James Newton at minus 10 (134). Davis Bunn (Knoxville, Tenn.) is next on the hit parade for the Mocs. He fired rounds of 69 and 71 to shoot four-under 140. He is fifth, two strokes behind Fox.
Chris Robb (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) bounced back with a tough opening 77 with a one-under par 71 in the afternoon. He is tied for 26th at 148 (+4). Benni Weilguni (Langenlois, Austria) opened with a 74 and ended the day at 152, one shot ahead of Liam Johnston (Dumfries, Scotland) at 153.
