TEAM
- The No. 15/17 Chattanooga Mocs posted a 34-14 win at The Citadel today … UTC improves to 4-3 overall and 3-0 in the SoCon … the Bulldogs dropped to 2-5 and 0-2 in league play.
- The Mocs are 3-0 in the SoCon for the first time since 1983.
- Mocs opened the game with a 66-yard pass completion from Jacob Huesman to C.J. Board for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage … score was 19 seconds into the game … fastest points for the Mocs since a safety on the first snap (14:53) at Arkansas on Oct. 6, 2007 … fastest TD in Division I history.
- The Mocs were a season-high 8-13 (62%) on third downs … converted seven of first nine ... came into the game No. 6 in the SoCon at 36%.
- Keon Williams and Jacob Huesman are both tied for third with 21 career rushing TDs … school record is 24 held by Mike Smith (1977-80) and Tony Merendino (1975-78).
- UTC had 315 rushing yards on a season-high 50 attempts … most since running 59 times last year against The Citadel (10/26/13).
- Three times in last four games UTC has rushed for 250+ yards … all three were against SoCon opponents.
- The Bulldogs came into the game No. 2 in the FCS in rushing yards per game (325.3) … held to a season-low 198 today.
- This was the 48th meeting in the series … most against any other team … Mocs are 29-17-2 overall … 12-11-1 in Charleston … 5-1 and 3-0 in Charleston under Huesman.
- Tough to do against a triple-option team, the Mocs ran 13 more plays (67 to 54) and dominated the Time of Possession 34:50 to 25:10.
- UTC is 29-3 in the Huesman ear (since 2009) when outrushing its opponent.

- 2 catches for 68 yards.
- Career-long 66-yard TD catch on the first play from scrimmage.
Derrick Craine – So.-RB
- Career highs with 135 rushing yards on 17 carries.
- 75 yards in the first half.
- Most rushing yards by a Moc this season.
Jacob Huesman – Jr.-QB
- 11-17 passing for 163 and two TDs.
- 66-yard TD pass to C.J. Board on the first play from scrimmage … moved past Tim Couch (1984-86) into seventh place on the all-time passing yards list with that play (4,268).
- 39 career TD passes … one shy of Steve Woods (1978-81) for fourth all-time at UTC.
- 15 carries for 88 yards and one TD.
- Improves to 17-10 as a starting QB … second all-time in wins behind Steve Woods' 21-6-1 record (1979-81).
Nakevion Leslie – So.-LB
- Team-high 10 tackles.
- Tied a season-high.
- Third career game with 10+ tackles.
Derrick Lott – Sr.-DL
- 2.0 TFLs
- Six tackles overall.
- Came into the game third in the SoCon with 7.5 TFLs.
Davis Tull – Sr.-DE
- Six tackles … one shy of his season-high set last week at Tennessee.
- 1.0 TFLs … second among active players in the FCS with 54.0 career TFLs … 12.0 this season leads the SoCon.
- 1.0 sacks … leads the SoCon with 7.0 sacks … 5 straight contests with a sack … 33.5 in his career is third on the SoCon all-time list … SoCon record is 36.5 by Appalachian State's Josh Jeffries (1999-02).
Keon Williams – Sr.-RB
- 15 carries for 88 yards and TD.
