Game No. 5 | Chattanooga vs. Robert Morris | Battle 4 Atlantis Day 1 | McKenzie Arena | Nov. 26, 2014

HEAD COACH WILL WADE
Do you expect to win a lot of games this year scoring 61 points:
“I don't know about that. I think our defense is better. Our defense is quite a bit better. We felt like they really only hit five field goals against our set defense. We felt like we should sit back, guard them in the half-court and make them score over us. Our guys did a good job executing the plan. We switched a lot of stuff. Our guys were on it with the switches. Part of our offensive issue is we can't get any second shots on the offensive glass. We only got six offensive rebounds today. That's something we hang our hats on, we spend a lot of time working on and we're not getting them right now. We need to get a few more offensive rebounds if we want to score a little bit more, but I'll take a win however we need to do it.”

Thoughts on 2-3 zone?
“It's naturally going to be a slower game when a team plays a 2-3 the entire time. We knew that. You have to be more efficient with your possessions. Our guys did a nice job. We put in a new zone offense the last couple of days to work against them. They knew a lot of our zone stuff. Their assistant was with me a VCU as our GA, so he knew all of our stuff. We put in some new stuff so we could kind of catch them off guard a little bit.”

Thoughts on Greg Pryor:
“He's been shooting it well. He's worked really hard, he deserves it. We're a much better team when we have him and Rico (Ronrico White) out there together. You open up Rico to drive where they couldn't load in on him and load to the ball. I think he had seven assists and no turnovers if I remember correctly. Pryor's worked really hard. He's our hardest worker, probably our toughest kid, and we really trust him.”

Thoughts on Justin Tuoyo and Casey Jones:
“We did a nice job with getting to the rim, attacking the paint. We wanted to do that against the zone. We have to play more inside-out. I thought Justin Tuoyo did a good job. We threw the ball to him in the post. He made some good post moves. He needs to convert a little bit better at the line, but we'll work with him on that. Casey looked like his old self today. We challenged him to get back to being the dirty-work guy, blue-collar guy. I thought he did a nice job. He was skying for some rebounds. He really did a good job in there.”

Is that a point of emphasis trying to get the ball into Tuoyo early:
“Yes it's a huge point of emphasis. We wanted to get the ball inside, get the ball in the paint. You know when you play a team that plays zone like that, they can lull you into taking a bunch of threes. So we wanted to make sure the ball touched the paint. They double in the post when a post player gets going, so we wanted to get them to double Tuoyo because they double with the back-side guard, so you can skip it out and get really good looks. I thought we could get Rico some good looks that way. But Tuoyo did a really nice job attacking the rim. We missed him a couple of other times when he was open, but we'll get better feeding it into him.”

SOPHOMORE GUARD GREG PRYOR
Would you count this win as an ugly win:
“A win's a win, but we have a lot of stuff we need to work on. A lot of stuff on the table we need to work on the floor. It's coming along pretty well. It's good to get another win.”

Thoughts on his time played last game vs this game?
“The last game in the second half, I was in a lot of foul trouble so I couldn't play as much. Today, I wasn't in that much foul trouble. I got two early at the end of the first half, and I came in the second half just trying to play without fouling to make sure I stayed in the game the second half to help my team out.”

SOPHOMORE FORWARD JUSTIN TUOYO
How hyped do you get when the plan is to get the ball inside to the paint:

“My eyes get big. I knew I had to attack today. Coach told me to attack early, and we just stuck to the game plan the whole game and we got it done.”

Does this game start to ease the pain from Saturday's game:
“I mean it's good to get a win, but we're still trying to get something done. If we finish the week out strong, it'll be perfect. But you know it's good to get a win back. We're not satisfied just getting a win back, but it's good to get a W today.”

Is it tough scoring against the 2-3 zone:
“Robert Morris is a pretty good team. It's always tough to score vs. a 2-3 zone. You just have to have the willingness to attack. That's all we had. Everybody, their mindset was to attack today. We all just felt like that's what we had to do to get a win.”
