TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs improved to 7-6 overall with tonight's 83-67 win over UAB … the Mocs improved to 7-6 overall while the Blazers dropped to 4-8.
- Chattanooga is 6-1 at home this season … lone loss was to Georgia – 86-55 on Dec. 2.
- The Mocs took control of the game midway through the first half with a 10-0 run for a 31-16 lead at the 7:51 mark.
- Chattanooga led by as many as 26 in the second half – 54-28 17:19 – but UAB got it down to nine points – 65-56 – with 6:22 left in the game.
- UTC was 9-11 from the FT line in the last 6:22 of the game.
- UTC is now 3-10 all-time against UAB … 3-1 at home.
- UAB took full advantage of the Mocs 13 turnovers, scoring 25 points on those miscues … the Mocs forced UAB into 13 turnovers, but only managed 10 points on the Blazer errors.
- This was the first wire-to-wire win over a Division I opponent for Chattanooga.
- The Mocs won the battle on the boards 41-36 … Chattanooga is 7-0 this season when out-rebounding its opponent.
- The 83 points tonight are the second-most against a DI foe this season (93 vs. NKU on Dec. 16.) … second-most allowed by UAB (88 – UCLA, Nov. 28).
- The Mocs had a balanced attack with four individuals in double-figures and seven with at least seven points.
- UTC was 26-57 (45.6%) from the field tonight … fourth time in last five games shooting over 45%.

- Added nine boards and three assists.
- Career-high for shots taken.

- Team-high 18 points.
- Shot 4-9 from the field, 1-4 from 3-pt. range and 9-11 from the FT line.
- Fifth-straight game in double-figures.
- Sixth time leading the team in scoring this season.
- 26-50 from the field last five games.
- Added three boards, two assists and three steals.
- Tied a career-high with 38 minutes.
Eric Robertson – Jr.-G
- Eight points in 12 minutes off the bench.
- Shot 3-4 from the field and 2-3 from 3-pt. range.
- 21-40 (52.5%) from behind the arc this season.
- Fouled out.

- Second double-double with 11 points and a game-high 12 boards.
