TEAM
- Chattanooga dropped a 20-16 season opening matchup at Central Michigan tonight.  UTC jumped out to a 16-0 lead before the Chippewas mounted a second-half comeback. 

- The Mocs 94-yard, 13-play scoring drive in the second quarter is the second longest in terms of yards in the Russ Huesman era (since 2009).

- Mocs only had three red zone stops all of last year…had three tonight…UTC only allowed opponents inside its 20 33 times last season and only gave up 14 TDs on those trips…last time Mocs had three red zone stops in a game was a 39-21 win over Western Carolina on Oct. 13, 2007.

- UTC had an uncharacteristic five penalties for 54 yards in the game … UTC was No. 3 in the FCS in fewest penalties (3.92) and No. 4 in fewest penalty yards (32.8) per game last season.

- The Mocs had 227 yards of total offense and 16 points at halftime…shutout and only gained 29 yards in the second half.

INDIVIDUAL
Tommy Hudson – Sr.-WR

- Came into the game with one career TD…had two in the second quarter.
- Career-long 70-yard TD reception in the second quarter.
- Longest pass play at UTC since B.J. Coleman and Joel Bradford hooked up for an 80-yard score against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 18, 2010.
- Finished with two catches for 78 yards. 

Jacob Huesman – Jr.-QB
- 13-24 for 150 yards, 2TDs and a career-high four INTs.
- Ran 13 times for 46 yards.
- Career-long 70-yard TD pass to Tommy Hudson in the second quarter.
- Longest pass play at UTC since B.J. Coleman and Joel Bradford hooked up for an 80-yard score against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 18, 2010. 

Derrick Lott – Sr.-DL
- Career-high 3.0 TFLs
- 1.0 sacks.
- Finished with four tackles.
- Recovered a fumble.

Cedric Nettles – So.-DB
- Career-high 11 tackles.

Henrique Ribeiro – So.-K
- Career-long 47-yard FG in the first quarter.
- Longest by a Moc since Craig Camay's 52-yarder at Presbyterian on Sept. 19, 2009. 

Davis Tull – Sr.-DE
- Blocked a FG.
- Ran down CMU's Titus Davis on a punt return to save a TD…defense eventually held in the red zone.
- Had six tackles and 1.0 TFLs.

Muhasibi Wakeel – Sr.-LB
- Tied a career-high with 17 tackles.
- Forced a fumble.
