- Wofford posted a 68-64 Southern Conference win over the Mocs tonight … UTC falls to 9-7 overall and 2-1 in league play … The Terriers are 11-4 overall and 2-0 in SoCon action.
- UTC led by 11 (41-30) with 11:42 left after a Casey Jones layup … Wofford then went on an 18-7 run to tie the game at 48 with 5:57 left.
- Wofford's Karl Cochran had 33 points on 12-21 shooting, 6-9 from 3-pt. range and 3-5 from the FT line … most points allowed by the Mocs this season … 9-13, 6-6 from 3-pt. range in the second half … all six threes came in the last 11:27 of the second half … he also had three boards, three assists and five steals.
- Both teams combined to go 0-13 (UTC 0-6) from behind the arc in the first half.
- Both teams combined to go 13-19 (68.4%) from behind the arc in the second half … Wofford was 9-11 (81.8 %).
- Wofford didn't take its first lead until a Cochran 3 at the 3:12 mark to put the Terriers up 57-56.
