TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 66-60 win over Western Carolina in Southern Conference action tonight … UTC improves to 10-7 overall and 3-1 in league play … Western Carolina drops to 7-9 overall and 2-2 in SoCon action.

- The Mocs tied a team record with 15 blocks in the game … last time UTC had 15 came against Bluefield on Dec. 18, 2002 … school record vs. a SoCon team was 11 at home vs. the Catamounts on Jan. 28, 1988 … 15 blocks also ties the team record for a league game previously set by both VMI  (2003) and Charleston (2000).

- WCU's 62 FG attempts are the most by a UTC opponent this season. 

- UTC only grabbed seven offensive boards, breaking a streak of five straight games in double digits … WCU's 16 offense rebounds tied for the most allowed by Chattanooga this season (UAB) … the Catamounts held a 12-7 advantage in second-chance points.

- Chattanooga turned the ball over 16 times … most in a game since 17 at Kennesaw State.

- Chattanooga was 25-33 (.758) from the FT line … sixth time this season with 30+ FT attempts. 

- The Mocs used an 8-0 in the last two minutes of the first half to take a 33-24 lead into the break … UTC is 8-2 when leading at the break this season … WCU is 1-8 when trailing at the break.

- This was the Mocs first win by less than 10 points this season. 

- This was UTC's first win after losing the battle on the boards (36-35) this season.

- The Mocs held WCU to a season-low 35.5% (22-62) from the field.

- WCU cut the lead to one (46-45) with 9:45 left in the game, but never took control of the game … the Mocs went on an 11-2 run over the next four minutes to build back a double-digit advantage.

INDIVIDUAL
Casey Jones – Jr.-G
- Double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
- Fourth double-double of the season … seventh of his career.
- Tied for game-high with 18 points.
- Game-high and tied a career-high with 13 rebounds.
- Shot 4-9 from the field and 10-12 from the FT line.
- Career-highs for FTs made and attempted.

Eric Robertson – Jr.-G
- 11 points on 3-5 shooting, 2-4 from 3-pt. range and 3-4 from the FT line.
- Pair of blocks tied a career-high.
- Started for the second time this season.
- Fifth game in double figures this season.

Justin Tuoyo – So.-F
- 15 points on 5-9 shooting, 5-7 from the FT line.
- Career-high nine blocks.
- Third straight game in double-figures.
- One block off the school record set by Neil Ashby vs. Murray State on Dec. 22, 2001.
- Tied the league record for blocks in a league game … last time anyone had nine blocks in a SoCon game was VMI's Eric Mann vs. The Citadel on Jan. 15, 2000.
- 60 blocked shots this season is already No. 9 on UTC's career list, passing Stanford Strickland (1981-84) … tied with Aaron Morgan (2003) for fourth-highest single season total in UTC history.

Ronrico White – Sr.-G
- 11 points on 3-8 shooting, 5-6 from FT line.
- Five rebounds at three assists.
- Played all 40 minutes … UTC was without starting point guard Greg Pryor
- Fifth-straight game in double-figures.
