TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 33-27 win over VMI today … UTC improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in SoCon action … VMI dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in league play.

- UTC extended its school record with its 10th straight league win … longest streak in the SoCon since Appalachian State won 26 in a row (2006-09). 

- VMI led 21-20 at the half … most points allowed in the first half since 21 against Mars Hill on Sept. 12.

- VMI's first quarter touchdown was the first TD allowed by the Mocs since Samford scored with 12:40 left in the game on Sept. 19 … Mocs went eight full quarters (at Presbyterian, Furman) without allowing a TD.

- UTC held VMI to 90 yards and six points in the second half.

- Third straight game with a pick-6 for Chattanooga … fourth defensive score of the season … most since 2011.

- Mocs put up 490 yards … second most this season.

- 261 rushing yards is the second-most this season … fourth straight game with 245+ rushing yards … 5.3 yards per carry is a season-high.

- Defense recorded five sacks … second most this season … Mocs came into the game No. 7 in the FCS with 17 sacks on the year.

- UTC held the ball for 38:07 in the game … Mocs came into today No. 10 in the FCS in time of possession at 33:08.

- Chattanooga was just 2/7 on the year on 4th down coming into the game … 2/3 today.

- Just the ninth win in 30 games for the Mocs when trailing at the half in the Russ Huesman era.

Toyvian Brand – Sr.-DL
- Two tackles with a sack.
- Second-straight game with a sack.
- 2.5 sacks this season.

Derrick Craine – Jr.-RB
- Game-high 112 rushing yards on 19 carries.
- Fourth career 100-yard game … third this season.

Keionta Davis – Jr.-DL
- 1.5 sacks gives him 15.5 for his career.
- Passed Kenny Sanders (1995-98) for third all-time at UTC.
- Leads the SoCon with 8.5 sacks and 11.5 TFLs.

Sema'je Kendall – Sr.-DB
- 28-yard pick-6 in the fourth quarter.
- Second straight game with a pick.
- Fourth career INT.
- Four tackles.

Jacob Huesman – Sr.-QB
- 21-33 passing for 219 yards, TD and INT.
- 16 carries for 97 rushing yards and a TD.
- 59th career TD pass is tied for third all-time in the SoCon with Appalachian State's Richie Williams (2002-05).
- 7,042 career passing yards ... passed B.J. Coleman (2000-11) for second all-time at UTC.
- 3,348 career rushing yards ... passed Mike Smith (1977-80) for second all-time at UTC ... passed Georgia Southern's Greg Hill (1996-99) for 10th all-time in rushing yards for FCS quarterbacks.

Isaiah Mack – Fr.-DL
- Season-high six tackles.

Henrique Ribeiro – Jr.-K/P
- 4-4 on FGs to tie a school-record for makes in a game.
- Last time a Moc had four was Craig Camay against Western Carolina on Oct. 31, 2009.
- 8-10 on FGs for the year.
- 3-3 on PATs … made a school record 65-straight … 7th longest season in SoCon history.

- First career TD catch.
