The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is tied for 9th with Columbia at Louisville

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is tied for ninth with Columbia after 36 holes at the Cardinal Cup. The Mocs shot 303 in the first round before coming back with a 298 in the afternoon. The 601 total is just four shots out of fifth-place where Wisconsin stands at 597.
Isabella Loza had the team's low round of the day in the afternoon. She opened with a 78 and closed with a 1-under par 71. Her 5-over 149 is tied for 20th overall.
Loza is one clear of Emily McLennan who shot 76-74 for a 150. Megan Woods (75-76) is another shot behind at 151. Monica San Juan posted 153 after the best 18 of the morning with a 74. Cris Perez tallied 158.
Host Louisville leads by one. The Cardinals shot 584 just ahead of Florida State's 585. Notre Dame is third at 590 followed closely by Illinois at 591.
Wisconsin's Brooke Ferrell is the individual leader at -4 turning in 66 and 74. Notre Dame's Isabella DiLisio is second at -2 with a trio of golfers tied for third at -1.
The final round is a 9:15 a.m., shotgun start. The ladies are paired with Columbia and Richmond on holes 11-14. Click the live scoring and pairings links above for more information.
