Hosting the Southern Conference Tournament
The Mocs will host their first Southern Conference Tournament game. Before 2006, all eight teams who qualified for the tournament would travel to a site for the championship. Beginning in 2006, first round and quarterfinal games were played at higher seeds and the semifinal and finals were played in a single location. In 2009, only the top four seeds qualified for the tournament before returning to top eight the next year. In 2014 all 10 teams advanced to the SoCon tournament.

It's all in the name
