Hogan Named Southern Conference Player of the Week
For her efforts in the Mocs unbeaten weekend, junior Samantha Hogan was named the women's soccer Player of the Week by the Southern Conference for the week Sept. 14-20. She scored the game-tying goal against UAB late in the match and followed it up with an assist on the game winner in the final second of double overtime for the Mocs second win of the year. She then helped the Mocs to a draw at Tennessee Tech two days later.

On to Overtime
The Mocs have taken four games to overtime this season with a record of 1-2-1. That marks just the fourth time in the team's 20-year history that the Mocs have gone to overtime at least four times. In 2011, UTC went to OT six times with a record of 1-3-2.

Mocs Nab Thrilling Double-Overtime Victory
Samantha Hogan scored the game-tying goal in the 83rd minute against UAB and then assisted on the game winner in the final second of double overtime for its second win of the year.
