Lipscomb Bisons

Lipscomb has started the season on a five-game unbeaten streak at 3-0-2. The Bison opened the year with a 0-0 double overtime tie at Tennessee followed by a 2-0 home victory over Ball State. Over the next three matches, Lipscomb went to a scoreless draw against Cincinnati, a 3-0 win over Jacksonville State and a 9-0 shutout of Alabama A&M on the road. Nine Bison players have combined for 14 goals with Maycie McKay booting in a team-high three. Keeper Anna Buhigas has played all 490 minutes in goal with 26 saves. Lipscomb has 14 goals on 78 shots and a 55.1 shots on goal percentage (43-of-78). The Bison average 2.8 goals and 15.6 shots per game. Ten of Lipscomb's goals came in the first half on 37 shots.

Chattanooga is 3-3-1 vs. the Bison. Lipscomb won the last two matchups including a 2-0 decision last year at Finley Stadium. The Mocs posted a 2-0 win in Chattanooga at GPS in 2011.
Alabama A&M Bulldogs
Head Coach: Frank Davies (Alabama-Huntsville) • 16th season
The Bulldogs are 0-2-0 on the year and will face UNC Asheville on the road Friday evening. Alabama A&M has given up 21 goals in two matches, falling 12-0 at Kennesaw State in the season-opener.

Latham Ranks Among SoCon's Top Current Players
Senior
Clare Latham has 12 career assists and that ranks her fourth in the Southern Conference among active players. She tallied a team-high seven last season.
Thomas Ranks in Two Categories for Active Players in the Southern Conference

Lauren Thomas missed all of last year and still ranks among the top players in the Southern Conference. She is third for saves with 153 and is tied for fifth for shutouts with three.
Emig Ranked in SoCon Standings
Junior
Katie Emig has a 0.94 goals against average for the Mocs through two games, giving up just one goal in each contest. She is sixth in GAA and saves percentage (.800) while ranking seventh for saves with eight and fifth for saves per game with 4.0.
Hogan In On All The Action
Junior
Samantha Hogan assisted on all four of Chattanooga's goals in the Mocs' 4-2 win over UAH in a friendly on Sunday, Aug. 16. She nearly had a goal of her own after getting past the UAH keeper, but the Charger defense was able to keep the ball out of the net.
