Matt McCall, Head Coach

On win over Coastal Carolina on the road.
"It was a great win against a really good team and coach. It's a been a long stretch of games. To play the way we did in the second half on Saturday, and then come in and play the way we did today, I'm just really proud of these guys. I told them in the locker room that this was one of the best defensive performances I've ever been a part of as a coach. We knew it was going to be a battle and we came out and played the right way, I thought Casey (Jones) was the best he has ever been defensively. All of our guys used a tremendous defensive presence and it was a really great win."

On defensive performance in tonight's game.
"I thought our focus defensively was through the roof. Our offense was clicking early in the first half when we made some three's and built a lead. We got a little sloppy late in the game, but our focus was on the right things and when it got sloppy we still played the right way on defense and got stops which is most important."

On Tre' McLean's offensive outburst (26 points).
"Tre' (McLean) had it going tonight. He played the right way and didn't force anything, he let the game come to him. He put his focus on the right things, and when he is locked in like that, it's really good for our team."

Tre' McLean, Sr.-F
Thoughts on win over Coastal Carolina.
"It was a great team win on the road. Makinde (London) played really well on defense and so did Casey (Jones) and (Justin) Tuoyo. It was a great team win."

On how it can be anyone's night on this team.
"It's a reoccurring theme. It might be your night if shots fall, but we all have confidence in each other, so it can be anyone's night. We are always rooting for each other to have that kind of game to get a win. Tonight I had the hot hand and we just rolled with it."

On turning defense into offense.
"We want to be disruptive and disciplined on defense and then get out on transition, that's how we want to play. We want to share the ball and get out for easy lay-ups and I think we did that tonight."

Makinde London, R-So.-F
On playing tough road schedule.
"We had some long trips recently, so it's nice to see that we are finding our rhythm even though we've been traveling all over. We've been trying to get better every day, and I think we are really taking a professional approach to it."

On playing with senior leaders.
"We have a great group of seniors and they just lead by example. It's a privilege to have these seniors, and they are allowing us to learn. It's just something you can't take for granted because it's valuable, and you see all the work they put in to get here."

On jumping out to an early lead.
"It was big to get a lead early and not fall behind. We fell behind early to Arkansas State and just couldn't come back from that so we wanted to come out and make a statement by jumping out to an early lead."
