The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is tied for the lead at the USA Women's Invitational.

MOBILE, Ala.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is tied for first with 18 holes to play at the USA Women's Invitational at Azalea City Golf Course. UTC turned in cards of 292 and 299 for a 36-hole total of 591.
The Mocs are tied with host South Alabama at 591. Eastern Kentucky (594) is third followed by UAB (602) in fourth and Southern Illinois (604) in fifth.
Cris Perez is tied for second at E. She opened with a 71 and finished with 73. She tallied eight birdies. Perez's five birdies over her opening 18 is her fourth card with four or more.
Megan Woods is tied for ninth at +4 (148). Monica San Juan, tied for ninth, is another shot back at +5, while Emily McLennan tied 13th at +6. Isabella Loza tied for 35th at 158.
The Blazers' Sydney Snodgrass is the individual leader 3 under opening with 70 before ending her day with a 71. Perez is tied, three shots back, with Alabama State's Chanelle Avaricio.
The final round starts at 8:45 a.m., on hole 1 for the Mocs. The ladies are paired with USA and EKU. Loza leads off followed by McLennan (8:54), San Juan (9:03), Woods (9:12) and Perez (9:21). Click the live scoring and pairings links above for more information.
