ABOUT THE CITADEL (5-8-0, 0-5-0 SoCon)
The Bulldogs opened the 2017 season with three straight wins and closed out non-conference play with a 5-3 record. The Citadel is 0-5 in SoCon play and on a current six-match losing skid.

Cierra Skyers leads the Bulldogs with five goals and one assist for 11 points. Tinslee Dilday, Logan Dix, Caroline Cashion and Hannah Roth each have two goals and Maria Contreras has a team-high three assists. Kaeley Johnston and Logan Leask have shared time in goal. They have combined for 66 saves (.725 saves percentage) and allowed 25 goals for a 1.93 goals against average. Johnston has a 4-2 overall record and each have recorded one shutout.

CHATTANOGA vs. THE CITADEL

ABOUT MERCER (8-8-1, 5-3-0 SoCon)
The Bears opened the season with a 6-0 win over Alabama A&M. It would take until their sixth game to get a second win and close out non-conference play with a 2-5-1 record. However, in SoCon play, Mercer has claimed five victories and are currently enjoying a five-match win streak.

Maddie Clark leads the Bears with 25 points on 12 goals and one assist. Logan Culver has added four goals and Emma Tokuyama has three. Caroline Smith leads the Bears with three assists while three more have two each. In goal, Cristina Mursulli has started all 17 matches. She has a .744 saves percentage (58 saves) and a 1.40 goals against average, allowing just 20 goals on the year. Her record is 6-8 and sh has three shutouts.

CHATTANOOGA vs. MERCER
The Mocs and Bears first began competition in 2002 with Chattanooga winning the first three. However, since joining the SoCon, Mercer has claimed three wins of its own, including a first round SoCon Tournament win over Chattanooga last year in Macon. the Mocs won the regular season match 2-1 at home in overtime.
