- Chattanooga lost 74-65 at Wyoming Friday night…0-1 on the new season, 1-0 for the Cowboys.
- 30-11 in the DI era opening the season...4-10 when starting on the road.
- Out-rebounded the taller Cowboys 38-35…limited hosts to a mere four offensive boards leading to a 9-2 advantage in second chance points.
- 16 turnovers with 10 in the first half…-1 TO margin for the game, however, Wyoming held an 18-6 lead in points off turnovers.
- The Mocs are the youngest team in the nation with an average of 19.31 years of age…one of just seven DI programs (Dayton, Iowa State, Kentucky, Little Rock, North Carolina Central & Pitt) with zero starters returning from 2016-17.
- First meeting with Wyoming, just the third with a Mountain West Conference opponent…0-3 in those matchups losing at home to Colorado State (76-65, 2006 Dr Pepper Classic) and on the road at Nevada (83-81, 11/22/13).
