Senior
Jesslyn Stockard made the most of her 'Senior Day' as she belted her fifth homerun of the season, a solo shot over the right-center fence to give the Mocs a 1-0 lead. An RBI single from
Hayleigh Weissenbach and an RBI ground-out from
Ashley Conner pushed UTC's lead to 3-0 after the fourth. UNCG answered right back in the top of the fifth with three runs on five hits including two doubles and one Mocs error to tie things up at 3-3.
Stockard wouldn't be finished in her last regular season game at Frost Stadium as she smacked her second solo homerun of the day, the eventual game-winner, in the bottom of the sixth to take back the lead at 4-3. The Spartans put runners on second and third with one out in the top of the seventh, but pitcher
