RADFORD, Va. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's soccer team gave up two late goals to fall 2-0 at Radford Friday evening. The Mocs are now 1-1-1 on the year while the Highlanders improve to 3-0 overall.

"Our first road test was tough," Chattanooga head coach
Gavin McKinney said. "Radford presented a few different problems we have not dealt with yet. We will learn from it and move forward.

Chloe Arnold (Bristol, Tenn.) led the Mocs with six shots. She was one of four UTC players with a shot on goal.
Catherine Meyer (Hendersonville, Tenn.),
Bailey Gale (Knoxville, Tenn.) and
Maeve Kelly (Nashville, Tenn.) each had two shots.

The Mocs were outshot 19-13 with a 6-4 shots on goal difference. Eight of UTC's shots came in the second half. Coppedge made four saves in her first game as a Moc.

Radford's first goal came in the 64
th minute off a header from Jessica Wollman. Jane Everett sent a pass to the far side picked up by Nelia Perez who sent it to Wollman and hit home to make it 1-0 at the 63:45 mark.

As time was winding down, the Highlanders sent a corner kick from Allyson Giannone right into the six-yard box. Chattanooga keeper
Bailey Coppedge (Collierville, Tenn.) went up in the crowd to gather it in but it slipped in out of her reach and was picked up behind her by Jasmine Casarez who knocked it into the back of the net for the final score.
