CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's and women's cross country team will head to Rome, Ga., Saturday for the Berry College Invitational for the final meet of the regular season.
Â
"This meet is our last chance to get our legs under us before the conference meet," Chattanooga head coach Andy Meyer said. "The kids have worked hard and are looking forward to a good, hard effort."
Â
The men will run an 8K race while the women's race will be 6,000 meters on the Berry College campus.
Â
"We will be racing on a challenging course," Meyer said. "The guys will be continuing to perfect their 8K pacing. The ladies will be racing a 6K, their first of the year and only one before the NCAA South Region. They will be getting a better feel for this distance and over distance work for conference in two weeks."
The Mocs will be competing against 37 other teams at this meet including both Georgia and Georgia Tech. The men's race will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the women at 10:00 a.m. The link for live scoring and results is available at GoMocs.com on the cross country schedule page. Results will be available at GoMocs.com following the race.
