- The Mocs dropped a 81-78 game to Eastern Kentucky tonight … both teams saw their records draw even at 1-1.
- UTC is 1-3 against EKU all-time … 85-84 against the OVC overall.
- UTC only made one of its last eight three pointers … 6-18 for the game … stated 5-10.Â
- Led by nine at the break 45-36 … 45 points in the first half is the most since last year's home win over The Citadel which also featured 45. The Mocs are averaging 43.0 points in the first half through two games this season. Averaged just 30.2 in the first half last season against DI opponents.
- Built an 11-point lead (59-48) on and and-one by
Kevin Easley with 11:28 to play.
- EKU went on a 17-4 run over the next four minutes to take the lead …Nick Mayo three with 7:26 to play gave them a 65-63 advantage.
- EKU's Nick Mayo scored 40 points on 12-23 shooting, 4-10 from three and 12-13 from the FT line … most points allowed since Wofford's Fletcher Magee had 45 last year on Feb. 17.Â

- Off the bench for 16 points, six boards and two assists.
- Shot 5-7 from the field, 3-4 from behind the arc and 3-5 from the FT line.
- Made four of his last five attempts.
- Played 31 minutes.
Kevin Easley – Fr.-F
- Team-high 22 points on 7-17 shooting, 1-6 from 3-pt. range and 7-9 from the FT line.
- Most points by a Mocs freshman since Feb. 23, 2013 when Gee McGhee tallied 24 in the home win over Elon.
- Added seven boards and two assists.
- Second game in doubles figures.
Jonathan Scott – Jr.-G
- 10 points and four boards.
- Shot 3-4 from the field and 4-5 from the FT line.
Thomas Smallwood – Sr.-C
- 12 points and a team-high eight boards before fouling out with 2:29 to play.
- 4-8 shooting, 4-5 from the FT line.
- Double figures in both games.
