TEAM
- The Mocs dropped a 49-9 game at South Carolina … UTC ends its season with a 6-5 mark, while the Gamecocks improved to 6-4.

- The Mocs had a chance to take a 3-0 lead against a Power 5 team for the fourth year in a row, but Victor Ulmo's 42-yarder in the first quarter was blocked … Mocs took 3-0 leads over LSU in 2017, Alabama in 2016 and Florida State in 2015. 

- Mocs came into the game one of only five teams in the FCS to not allow 30 points in a game this season … led the SoCon and ninth in the FCS in scoring defense (18.2).

- UTC got on the board with a 32-yard FG in the second quarter … last time UTC was shut out was 49-0 at No. 1 Alabama on Nov. 23, 2013.

- UTC made its 12th and 13th red zone stop of the year … came into the game leading the SoCon and No. 6 in the FCS in red zone defense (65.6% - 21/32) …. allowed 5-7 tonight.

- Chattanooga did not force a turnover for the first time this season. 

INDIVIDUAL
Jerrell Lawson – So.-LB

- Sack in the second quarter … 2.5 on the year.

Tavon Lawson – Sr.-LB
- Game-high and season-high 11 tackles.
- Third game with 10+ tackles in his career. 

Devonnsha Maxwell – Fr.-DL
- Five tackles.
- Sack in the third quarter
- 5.5 on the year passes Davis Tull (2011) and Greg Jeffers (1991) for second-most by a freshman at UTC … school freshman record is held by Josh Williams (2009) with 7.0.

Bryce Nunnelly – So.-WR
- Five catches for 141 yards.
- Tied a school record with his sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season …set by Alonzo Nix in 2003.    
- Caught a 45-yard pass on the first play of the game
- Put him over 1,100 yards on the year to become the second Moc to average 100 receiving yards per game for a season.
- 1,237 receiving yards is second all-time in a season at UTC … trails Joel Bradford's school record 1,284 in 2010.
- 57-yard connection with Tiano in the fourth quarter.
- 11 catches of 30+ yards this season … Mocs only had five as a team all last year.  
- 78 catches passed Cos Dematteo (75 in 2000, 76 in 1999) for fifth most in a season at UTC.
- Most receiving yards by a Moc against an FBS opponent since Cos DeMatteo had 207 at Louisville on Sept. 11, 1999.
- Most receiving yards by a Moc against an SEC opponent since Rocky Turner had 198 at Ole Miss on Nov. 13, 1971.  

Nick Tiano – Jr.-QB
- 17-36 for 254 passing yards.
- Most passing yards by a Moc against an FBS opponent since Chris Sanders had 367 at Louisville on Sept. 11, 1999.
- Most passing yards by a Moc against an SEC opponent since Steve Woods had 286 at Vanderbilt on Nov. 22, 1980.  
- 2,949 yards of total offense … passes Cedric Stevens (2,837 in 2004) for seventh-most in a season at UTC.   
- 233-378 passing for 2,710 and 15 TDs against six INTs for the year. 
- 233 completions passes Jacob Huesman (226 in 2014), B.J. Coleman (227 in 2009) and Cedric Stevens (232 in 2004) for third.  His six interceptions are the fewest among the Mocs who completed over 200 passes in a season.
- 2,710 passing yards passes Alejandro Bennifield (2,622 in 2016) and Cedric Stevens (2,708 in 2004) for fifth-most in a season at UTC.

- 33-yard catch in the second quarter. 
- Second-longest catch of the year.
