- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 95-62 win over Hiwassee tonight … UTC improved to 3-5 overall while the Tigers drop to 5-5. 

- The game was tied at 31 following a Naquon Newman bucket for Hiwassee with 4:33 left in the first half … UTC closed the period on a 12-0 run to lead 43-31 at the break … the final margin was UTC's biggest lead of the game.

- Hiwassee's Bryant Bernard led all scorers with 24 points … 8-14 shooting, 4-8 from three and 4-5 from the FT line … added a team-high seven boards, two assists and two steals.

- Mocs had a season-high five score in double-figures, including Jerry Johnson (20), David Jean-Baptiste (19), Donovann Toatley (19), Justin Brown (14) and Kevin Easley (11).

- 95 points is a season high for the Mocs.

- UTC shot a season-high 52.0% from the floor … season bests for FGs made (39) and attempted (75).

- Season-high 19 assists.

- Season-high 13 steals … most since 14 against Western Carolina on Feb. 4, 2017.

- 10 fouls committed by UTC was a season-low … fewest since committing eight against ETSU on Feb. 3, 2018.

- UTC forced Hiwassee into 21 turnovers, resulting in 26 points … most points off turnovers for the Mocs since getting 26 against UNC Charlotte on Dec. 10, 2017.

Justin Brown – Fr.-F
- Season-high 14 points on 7-8 shooting.
- First game in double-figures.
- Game-high and season-high eight boards in 15 minutes off the bench.
- Added two assists and no turnovers.

Maurice Commander – Fr.-G
- Season-high and game-high four assists.
- First start of the year.
- Added two points and four boards.

Kevin Easley – Fr.-F
- 11 points on 4-10 shooting, 2-4 from three and 1-1 from the FT line.
- Added three boards and two steals in 23 minutes.
- Double-figures in seven of the Mocs' eight games.
- 7-10 from three last two games … 5-24 first six games.

David Jean-Baptiste – So.-G
- Career-high 19 points on 8-12 shooting, 1-4 from three and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Second game in double-figures in last three outings.
- Career-high three assists.
- Season-high five rebounds.

Jerry Johnson, Jr. – Jr.-G
- Season-high 20 points on 7-15 shooting, 2-8 from three and 4-4 from the FT line.
- Season-high seven boards.
- Season-high five steals … most by a Moc since Tre' McLean had the same number in the December 2016 win over Marshall.

Donovann Toatley – Fr.-G
- Season-high 19 points on 8-14 shooting, 2-4 from three and 1-3 from the FT line.
- Added three boards and three assists.
- Only one turnover in 26 minutes off the bench.
- Fourth game in double-figures this season.
