TEAM
- Chattanooga lost a 75-72 heart-breaker at UT Martin Tuesday night…5-8 on the season, while the Skyhawks move to 5-4.
- Second-half slump doomed the Mocs…with the score tied 38-38 with 15:38 remaining, UTM went on a 13-2 spurt scoring on five of the next seven possessions…three turnovers over that same span.
- The Skyhawks were +17 at the FT line over their visitors… made 19 of 27 (70.4%) compared to two of three (66.7%).
- 31 made field goals for the Mocs ties the squad high against a DI opponent…also made 31 in the loss at Georgia State…shot 50.0 percent (31-62) for the game, 57.6 percent (19-33).
- 19 second-half field goals made were five less than UTM had for the game (24).
- The last time the Mocs lost a game shooting 50 percent or better from the field was last November's loss at Akron shooting 54.2 percent (26-48).
- Skyhawks scored 15 points off 13 Chattanooga turnovers…Mocs had just seven on nine UTM miscues.
- Over the final 4:30, UTM went 6-6 from the FT line for their only points until Preston Parks' heave to win the game.
- First buzzer-beater against the Mocs since Deonte Burton's deep three propelled Nevada to the win on Nov. 22, 2013.
- Fewest FT attempts (3) since Jan. 21, 2010 at UNCG…the Spartans only attempted seven.
- The bench scored 40 of the 72 points (55.6%)…shot 62.1 percent (18-29).

- Just fourth meeting of the DI era (starting 1977-78).
