The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team scored a 4-2 win at Alabama State today. The Mocs won the doubles point and three singles matches to improve to 7-5 on the year.
Alabama State entered the match with 10 wins on the season (10-6) and a reputation as the top team in the SWAC. The Mocs opened with 6-2 wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Junior Carolina Hall and freshman Bogdana Zaprorzhets posted the victory at No. 2, while junior

Samantha Caswell kept the pressure on with a (6-2, 6-1) win at No. 1, only dropping three games to Chloe Kabamba. Chalaganidze won in straight sets at No. 3, while freshman
Emma Van Hee took the point at No. 4.

Chad Camper. "Tamri showed leadership and doubles set the momentum. ASU is a great and gritty team and at the top of their conference."
