Hollie Massey volleyed her corner kick to the box and
Masey Fox picked it up for her second goal of the year to make it 2-0 at the half.
Â
Lauren Dluzewski recorded her second goal of the year, scoring the Mocs' third goal at the 58:41 mark of the match. She dribbled around the defender to get a shot in from the right side.
Â
Each team had seven shots with a 4-2 shots on goal advantage for Chattanooga.
Ashton Shields, playing all 90 minutes in goal, saved both shots she faced while Trojan keeper Acelya Aydogmus had just one save on four shots faced.
Â
Shields, a freshman, earned her second shutout and her second win on the year. Arnold, Fox and Meyer each had two shots with one on goal apiece. Natalie Melillo had three shots on the day with both shots on goal.
Â
"I am proud of the squad and the effort they are putting forth on the pitch," McKinney said. "We are looking forward to getting back to Chattanooga on Friday night."
