Chattanooga drops to 4-8 on the season ahead of tomorrow's matchup at No. 20 Kentucky. U of L improves to 7-4 following the win. The loss marks UTC's fifth straight as they have faced four 2017 NCAA Tournament participants during that span.

Louisville controlled the match from start to finish, claiming wins in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-14. The Cardinals were coming off a 3-0 loss to No. 20 Kentucky last night in the Battle of the Bluegrass rivalry match.

Senior
Miranda Elpers, a Louisville native, enjoyed the time playing in her hometown. Elpers led the team with a personal season-high 14 kills at a .414 hitting percentage while totaling eight digs to help aid the defense.

Gylian Finch followed with six kills while
Mikaela Gauthreaux stayed hot after finishing with five kills at a .444 clip.
Dani Szczepanski and
Jaquelyn Langhaim each finished with two kills.

Langhaim directed the offense with 26 assists while
Megan Kaufman anchored the defense with a team-high 12 digs. Langhaim nearly posted a double-double after finishing with nine digs on the day.

Chattanooga allowed a .396 hitting percentage compared to its own .183 percentage while also being out-numbered in the kills category 49-30. UL totaled 6.0 team blocks and limited UTC to only 2.0. Â
