Freshman Esme Hamilton and the Chattanooga Mocs head right back into action this weekend at Vanderbilt’s Mason Rudolph Championships.

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team takes to the tee Friday at the Vanderbilt Legends Club for the Mason Rudolph Championships. The three-day, 54-hole event is always a good test with a strong field.

This year is no different. The Mocs and 14 opponents converge on the Franklin, Tenn., facility. The field includes 2017 National Champion Arizona State along preseason coaches poll top 25 mentions for Wake Forest (17), Michigan State (18), Auburn (21), Clemson (22) and Vanderbilt (25).

This is the sixth appearance in the event for the program and third in a row. The Mocs scoring average is 293.50 over he last six rounds at the Legends Club.

There is one change in the lineup from earlier this week in Knoxville. Freshman Dorota Zalewska is making her collegiate debut. Live scoring and pairings are linked above.

3 NOTES TO KNOW

Esme Hamilton opened her collegiate career with 10 birdies at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate earlier this week. She was one of just 13 in the field to reach double figures while leading the Mocs.
Monica San Juan tied for the tourney lead in pars with 39 at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate. That was one ahead of Maddy McDanel's 38.
The Mocs best 18 at the Legends Club is 291 in the opening round in 2014. The last three visits boast a first round average of 291.67.
