Arnold's Two Goals Leads Mocs to Win over Bulldogs

Chloe Arnold has climbed into the Mocs' record books through two seasons.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's soccer team snared a 1-0 decsion against The Citadel Sunday afternoon in Southern Conference action. The Mocs improve to 5-4-2 overall and 1-0-1 in league play while the Bulldogs fall to 6-4 on the year and 0-2 against the SoCon.
 
Chloe Arnold scored the first of her two goals in the 52nd minute when she intercepted a Bulldog pass and turned upfield toward The Citadel goal. She went 1-v-1 and sent her shot past the Bulldog keeper to make it 1-0.
 
Chattanooga's second goal was 30 minutes later at the 81:02 mark of the match with The Citadel committing a foul in the box. Arnold lined up her shot and fired it into the bottom left side of the net for her second score of the match.
 
The Mocs outshot the Bulldogs 21-8 and had a 13-4 shots on goal advantage. Kelly Brahmbhatt had 11 saves in the loss and Chattanooga keeper Ashton Shields remains unbeaten with a 4-0-2 record that includes four shutouts.
 
Arnold had a game-high five shots with four on goal and two goals. Hollie Massey, with several opportunities to score, had four shots and two on goals. Masey Fox and Lauren Dluzewski added three shots each.
 
Kessy Bradshaw led The Citadel with three shots, two on goal and Logan Dix added two on the day.
