COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team saw its three-match winning streak snapped after suffering a 3-1 (25-23, 18-25, 19-25, 17-25) setback to in-state foe Tennessee Tech on Tuesday night in Cookeville.

Chattanooga drops to 4-3 on the season while Tennessee Tech improves to 5-3. TTU now leads the all-time series 16-3 after meeting for the first time since 2012.

Chattanooga opened up the match by claiming a back-and-forth first set, 25-23, to take an early 1-0 lead before Tennessee Tech evened things up ahead of the break with a 25-18 win in the second set. TTU slammed the door shut with a 25-19 win in the third and a 25-17 victory in the fourth to take the match 3-1.

Ally Ford paced the team with a season-high 18 kills at a .378 hitting percentage and committed just four attacking errors in 37 total attacks.
Dani Szczepanski finished with nine kills at a .231 clip while registering a career-high 10 digs and adding two blocks.

Jaquelyn Langhaim led the team with 26 assists and completed the double-double after posting 11 digs while finishing with four kills.
Maddie Halsey aided the offense with 19 assists.

Defensively,
Megan Kaufman paced the team with 17 digs, marking the third-straight match with 15 digs.
Brenna Everingham continued a solid start to her collegiate career after finishing with eight.

Mikaela Gauthreaux and
Gylian Finch added to the offensive attack with seven and five kills, respectively.
Miranda Elpers added four while
Eden Murray notched three in four total attacks in her first playing action of the 2018 season.
Chattanooga was out-attacked in the hitting percentage column by a .259 to .190 margin. That marks just the second time all season UTC was less efficient than their opponents and is also the second-highest percentage allowed on the year.
