CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf is right back on the course after a strong third-place finish last weekend. The ladies tackle Old Waverly Club Sunday through Tuesday for the Magnolia Invitational.
There's a lot to build on from the Princess Anne Invitational that ended last Sunday. The Mocs shot their second-best 18 (tie-280) and 54-hole (856) scores in school history. That came behind a record-setting performance from sophomore Esme Hamilton.
Hamilton, who swept Southern Conference Golf and Student-Athlete of the Week honors, registered the lowest 18-hole total by a Moc with 65 in the first round. She ended up third with 205 tying Emily McLennan's school mark winning the 2015 Fall Invitational.
There are no lineup changes this week. Hamilton is joined by seniors Maddy McDanel and Kirsty Beckwith, junior Michaela Kulhankova and fellow sophomore Rheagan Hall.
