CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Playing in a five-set battle for the third-straight match, the Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team fell in a 3-2 (21-25, 25-20, 25-19, 19-25, 15-11) decision on the road to The Citadel Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon inside McAlister Field House in Charleston, S.C.
 
The loss dropped Chattanooga's overall mark to 5-16 and conference record to 0-8, rounding out the league's first half of play. The Citadel won its fourh-straight match to improve to 8-13 overall and 2-6 in SoCon action.

- Sophomore attacker Gylian Finch blistered a career-high 27 kills on Saturday… third-straight match with 20+ kills to continuously set new career marks… first Moc to record three-straight 20+ kill matches since Rachel Evans in 1997… finished with a .323% attack percentage which is second-best of season.
- Junior Maddie Halsey dished out 46 assists in the defeat… crossed 600 assists for the season… sits just 37 assists shy of 1,000 for her career.
- Sophomore Maia Rackel picked up her fourth-straight match with 10+ kills after a 12 kill performance… added 4.0 blocks… 14.0 total blocks in last three matches… fifth match with 4.0+ this season.
