CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Playing as the No. 9 seed, the Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team saw its season come to a close after suffering a 3-0 (25-23, 25-15, 25-15) loss on the road to No. 8 The Citadel inside McAlister Field House on Tuesday night in Charleston.
 
Chattanooga finishes the season 7-23 overall. The Citadel advances to the weekend to face top-seeded Samford and improves its season record 11-19.

MATCH NOTABLES
- Chattanooga finishes the season 7-23 overall and suffers a first round exit from the SoCon Tournament for consecutive years for the first time since 2013.
- Junior Megan Kaufman posted a match-high 16 digs on Tuesday… 12^th time in last 13 matches with at least 15 digs… finishes season with 457 total digs at a 4.01 per set average.
- Junior Maddie Halsey dished out 26 assists in three sets… added a kill to finish the year with at least one kill in every match played as a setter… rounded out the year with 960 assists at a 9.32 per set average.
