JOHNSON CITY, TENN. --- For the fifth time in the last six matches, the Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team found themselves on the wrong side of a five-set battle, this time dropping a 3-2 (29-31, 25-15, 25-20, 15-25, 15-7) decision on the road to SoCon-leading ETSU on Saturday night in Johnson City.
 
Chattanooga falls to 5-19 overall and 0-11 in conference play following the loss. ETSU improves to 20-4 overall and 11-1 in league play to continue its spot atop the standings table.

MATCH NOTABLES
- Chattanooga claimed a lengthy 31-29 victory in the opening set on Saturday night… first set victory with 30+ points since downing ETSU 32-30 on October 26, 2018 inside Maclellan Gymnasium… just the second one since 2014.

- Sophomore Gylian Finch led the offensive attack with a team-high 15 kills… fifth match in last six with 15+ kills… sixth match this season with 15+.

- Senior Sarah Root followed Finch with 11 kills at a team-high .304% attack percentage… sixth match this season reaching double digits in the kill column… surpassed 150 kills for the year.
- Junior Megan Kaufman led the team with 16 digs to up her active 15+ dig streak to seven… still just two matches this season failing to reach double digits in digs.
