- Chattanooga dropped an 89-53 at Florida State Wednesday night…3-2 now for the season, while the Seminoles improve to 3-1.
- 3-game win streak snapped.
- Just the third meeting with FSU…first since Feb. 1, 1975…Seminoles lead 3-0, 2-0 in Tallahassee.
- Trailed 41-29 at the half…2-1 now when behind at the break…FSU's 41 first half points is a season-high for an opponent…tied for the largest halftime lead with Troy who led by as many as 14 in the second half before the Mocs stormed back for the 74-68 triumph.
- 24 second-half points are the fewest by the Mocs this season…previous low was 30 at Eastern Kentucky.
- Chattanooga blocked a season-high five shots…had four total in prior four contests…two by Ramon Vila and one each for Rod Johnson, Matt Ryan and Justin Brown…8th career multi-block game for Vila.
- Season-high shooting for the Seminoles making 52.3 percent overall, 40.0 from 3pt range…entered contest at 40.5 percent, 29.8 percent from deep.
- FSU made 10 3pt tonight…came with 17 combined over first three games.
- Fewest free throws made (2) and attempted (6) by the Mocs since going 2-3 at UT Martin last season (12/18/18).
- First action of the season for Ashton Smith and Alex Tostado…both played last 1:32…Smith (3pt) and Grant Ledford (2pt) made their first collegiate baskets.
