TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 84-80 overtime win over Troy today … UTC improved to 7-5 overall with the win … Troy fell to 4-7.
- The Mocs sweep the non-conference home-and-home series … UTC also won at Troy 74-68 on Nov. 12 … first time UTC has swept a true, in-season home-and-home non-conference series since beating Tennessee State twice in December of 2003.Â
- Mocs improved to 4-0 at home.Â
- 4-1 in games decided by six points or less.Â
-  Mocs were 10-31 (32.3%) from three tonight … second-most threes attempted this season … most was 34 in the first game at Troy … fourth game this season with 10+ threes.  Â
- 20-28 from the FT line were season-highs for the Mocs as a team … previous highs were 15-24 at Troy … most FTs made and attempted since 22-31 vs. Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 10, 2018.  Â
- Mocs only had nine turnovers in the game … tied for second-fewest this season.Â
- Troy was 26-48 (54.2%) from the field in regulation, including 7-15 (46.7%) from three … Mocs held them to 3-11 (27.3%) from the field and 1-5 from three in overtime.Â
- Troy's Ty Gordon hit a three with 2:53 left in regulation to give the Trojans a 72-67 lead … his FT at the 2:10 mark was their only other points the rest of the period.Â
- UTC eaked out the battle on the boards 38-37 … had a 16-11 advantage in offensive rebounds … led to a 14-8 lead in second-chance points … 5-0 when winning the rebound margin. Â
- While the Mocs were hitting from outside, Troy outscored UTC 34-22 in the paint.

Jonathan Scott's 11 points led the Mocs bench efforts that included 22 points … seventh game with 20+ points off the bench … Troy got 19 from their reserves, led by Ty Gordon's 11.Â
- UTC only led for 8:36 in the game.Â
- Mocs moved to 3-3 when trailing at the half.Â
- Mocs twice trailed by six in the second half, marking their third second-half comeback win of the season.
INDIVIDUAL
A.J. Caldwell – So.-G
- Huge three with 25 second in overtime to give the Mocs an 82-77 lead.
- Three points on 1-2 shooting from deep.Â
- Added two boards, two assists, a block and steal in four minutes off the bench.Â
- All came in the last 2:09 of regulation and overtime.
- Had nine second-half points in the first win at Troy, including a crucial and-one in the closing minute.Â
David Jean-Baptiste – Jr.-G
- 15 points to go with three boards, three assists and a steal.
- Shot 5-14 from the field, 0-7 from three and 5-5 from the FT line.
Matt Ryan – Sr.-G/F
- UTC career-high with a game-high 23 points.
- Shot 7-15 from the field, 5-12 from three and 4-6 from the FT line.
- Team-high seven boards … fourth time leading the Mocs in rebounds.
- Added three assists and two steals.Â
- Tied for most threes by a Moc this season …
David Jean-Baptiste had five vs. South Alabama. Â
- Both games with 20+ points vs. Troy … 21 in the first win.
