ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF
FRANKLIN, Tenn.---The Chattanooga Mocs finished the Mason Rudolph Championships with the same score they started with, seven-over par 291. That put the squad in 16th with an 881 total.
Oliver Simonsen and
Etienne Brault led the way with even-par 71s.
Connor Nolan and
Lake Johnson finished the counting number with 74 and 75, respectively.
Dominic Jones' 77 was the drop score, while
Moritz Lammel had 72 as an individual.
Simonsen topped the team finishers with 220. Brault and Lammel were one behind at 221 ahead of Nolan's 222. Johnson and Jones each posted 223.
No. 4 Vanderbilt won by 17 shots with 823. No. 20 Liberty was second at 840. Western Kentucky's Billy Tom Sargent was medalist shooting 12-under 201. The groups endured multiple delays for storms in the Nashville area.
The Mocs complete the regular season next week at the Old Waverly Collegiate. Three are in play starting tomorrow at Dalton State's event at the Farm in Dalton. The two-day, 54-hole event features junior
Will Porter along with freshmen
Leon Bader and
Alex Cobb playing as individuals.

3 NOTES TO KNOW
- The Mocs recorded 41 bogeys over the first 36 holes but had just nine today. That drop came at the expense of six others after just one on the first two days.
- Simonsen and Brault finished with two of the squad's three par or better cads on the South Course (Lammel round one). It's Simonsen's team-high 15th of the season and the 26th of Brault's three-year career.
- The counters shot 7 under on the par 5s today which broke a 5-over over streak in the previous eight cards.
