Mocs Open Fall Play at Austin Peay

Four individual head to Clarksville, Tenn., for the two-day event.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team opens the 2019-20 season at the Austin Peay Fall Invitational this weekend. The Mocs travel to Clarksville, Tenn., for the seven-team event.
Action begins on Friday, Sept. 13, and runs through Saturday, Sept. 14. Representing the Mocs are junior Bogdana Zaporozhets, sophomore Polina Goloputova and freshmen Callie Billman and Jessie Young.
"The team has had a great few weeks of training," stated head coach Chad Camper. "I feel every girl is hungry to compete and see where we stand, both within our lineup and among some great teams.
"The fall is about teaching, so I decided to take a smaller squad and work with them more during the matches."
Zaporozhets, Young and Goloputova are all in the Flight 1 singles, while Billman is in Flight 2. Goloputova and Billman are the first Mocs doubles pair in Flight 1. Zaporozhets and Young also team up in Flight 1.
