CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's soccer team battled Furman into overtime under a blazing sun at the UTC Sports Complex but couldn't get past the Paladins in overtime. Furman knocked home the Golden Goal in the 95
th minute to snap Chattanooga's three-game win streak.

Jasmine Greene fed the ball to Kyndal Anderson who raced the defense down the field and put the ball into the left side of the net to give her team the sudden victory and the Paladins their first Southern Conference win this season.

Chattanooga drops to 6-3-2 on the year and 1-1 in league play while the Paladins are now 6-4-1 overall and 1-0-1 against the conference.

Both team had many chances throughout the game. Chattanooga outshot the Paladins 10-9 and held a slim 4-3 shots on goal advantage.
Hollie Massey,
Osa Iyare and
Adryan Darnell each had two shots to lead the Mocs and both of Iyare's were on goal.

Abbey Saddler and the Mocs defense were able to keep the Paladins out of the net for 94 minutes. Saddler had two saves on the day and suffered her first loss of the season.

Erin Houlihan had four shots for Furman with one on goal and Isabella Gutierrez had two. Kellsey Weaver made four saves for the shutout.

Chattanooga will begin a four-game road trek next week beginning with Western Carolina Friday, Oct. 4 at 7:00 p.m.
