TEAM
- The Mocs dropped a 73-66 battle to Furman in McKenzie Arena tonight … UTC falls to 10-6 overall and 1-2 in SoCon action … the first-place Paladins are 4-0 in the SoCon and 14-3 overall.

- Chattanooga leads the series 54-35 … 30-10 at home … lost six in a row.

- UTC is 6-3 in games decided by 10 points or less this season. 

- UTC shot a blistering 72.7% (16-22) from the field in the first half … 38.5% (10-26) in the second … 54.2% (26-48) for the game … third time this season shooting 50% or higher … first time in a SoCon game since 52.5% (31-59) against Samford on Jan. 12, 2019 … highest in a SoCon game since 56.9% (29-51) against The Citadel on Feb. 8, 2018.    

- Shot 5-8 (62.5%) from three in the first half, but just 2-8 in the second.

- UTC's 48 FG attempts and 16 shots from three were both season lows. 

- Mocs took a 50-47 lead on a Matt Ryan jumper with 14:38 left in the second half … did not score again until David Jean-Baptiste's three ended a Furman 14-0 run with 5:41 left to play, closing the game to 61-53. 

- This game featured 14 lead changes and five ties in the first 25 minutes of play.

- Furman scored 17 points on 15 UTC turnovers … Mocs only got eight points on seven Furman miscues … Furman's seven TOs tied for the fewest forced by the Mocs this season.    

- Furman shot 9-27 (33.3%) from three for the game … most threes taken against UTC this season.

- Furman was led by Mike Bothwell's 27 points off the bench … most points by a non-starter allowed by UTC this season … both team leaders in scoring came off the bench (UTC's Kenic – 15).   

- Mocs won the battle on the boards (30-28) for the fifth game in a row … ninth time this season.

- UTC only allowed six offensive rebounds in the game … 13 over the last four games combined.

- Third-straight game in double-figures … five of last six.

Rod Johnson – Jr-F
- Second career double-double with 12 points and game-high 10 boards.
- Tied a season high for scoring.
- Fourth game in double-figures this season.
- Shot 6-9 from the field.
- Added an assist.

Stefan Kenic – Jr.-F
- Team-high 15 points.
- Shot 5-5 from the field, 3-3 from three and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Most FGs without a miss by a Moc this season.
