- The Mocs dropped a 73-66 battle to Furman in McKenzie Arena tonight … UTC falls to 10-6 overall and 1-2 in SoCon action … the first-place Paladins are 4-0 in the SoCon and 14-3 overall.
- Chattanooga leads the series 54-35 … 30-10 at home … lost six in a row.
- UTC is 6-3 in games decided by 10 points or less this season.Â
- UTC shot a blistering 72.7% (16-22) from the field in the first half … 38.5% (10-26) in the second … 54.2% (26-48) for the game … third time this season shooting 50% or higher … first time in a SoCon game since 52.5% (31-59) against Samford on Jan. 12, 2019 … highest in a SoCon game since 56.9% (29-51) against The Citadel on Feb. 8, 2018.  Â
- Shot 5-8 (62.5%) from three in the first half, but just 2-8 in the second.
- UTC's 48 FG attempts and 16 shots from three were both season lows.Â
- Mocs took a 50-47 lead on a
Matt Ryan jumper with 14:38 left in the second half … did not score again until
David Jean-Baptiste's three ended a Furman 14-0 run with 5:41 left to play, closing the game to 61-53.Â
