The Mocs lead the Trojans 3-2 in the series that dates back to 1980. The Trojans won the first contest, played in Chattanooga and the Mocs won the next three. Last year Troy won the game in Chattanooga by a 90-51 margin. This will be just the second game played in Troy.

The two teams met last year with Troy coming away with a 90-51 victory on the Mocs' home court.

Dena Jarrells combined to scored 23 points for UTC and
Eboni Williams pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds. The Trojans had five in double figures and shot 42.5% from the field.

ABOUT UTC
The Mocs opened the season Sunday at home against UAB. After holding a narrow led over the Blazers in the first half, UAB struck back in the second for a 78-58 win.
Bria Dial led Chattanooga with 20 points.

This will be the Trojans fourth game of the year with wins over Southeastern Louisiana and Lagrange and a loss to Alabama A&M. Troy is averaging 93.7 points per game after scoring 131 against Lagrange. Three Trojans are averaging double digit scoring led by Tiyah Johnson with 20.0 per game. Alexus Dye has a team-best 9.7 rebounds per game and is second in scoring averaging 18.7 points. Tyasia Moore is shooting 57.7 percent from the floor and averages 11.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
