- The Mocs dropped a 64-61 loss to Western Carolina in McKenzie Arena today … UTC falls to 14-9 overall and 5-5 in SoCon play, while the Catamounts sweep the season series and improve to 14-7 overall and 6-4 in league action. 

- 66-29 all-time against WCU … 38-6 at home … 1-5 in last six meetings.

- WCU won the battle on the boards 44-39 … UTC is 2-7 when being outrebounded … second-most rebounds allowed by UTC this season (47 at Troy on Nov. 12) … only second time in last 12 games the Mocs lost the rebound battle. 

- Mocs shot 22-65 (33.8%) from the floor … second-worst outing of the year (32.4% 22-68 at EKU on Nov. 5).

- WCU's Carlos Dotson had 14 boards … most allowed by UTC to an individual this season.

- WCU shot 0-9 from 3-point range in the second half … 4-23 (17.4%) for the game.

- UTC only had nine turnovers … snapping a streak of four-straight games with 10+. 

- Game featured 12 lead changes and four ties … no team led by more than eight. 

- Mocs held a 57-54 lead with 1:58 left in the game.

- UTC has 12 assists on its 22 baskets … fourth-straight game with 10+ … WCU only had seven … only the third loss this season (12-3) when having more assists that opponent.

- 4-2 in games decided by less than five points.

- Topped 800 career points (811).
