- Chattanooga lost a 92-87 decision at The Citadel…Mocs fall to 10-3, 1-3 in the SoCon…Bulldogs improve to 8-0, 1-0 in league play.
- 17-18 performance at the free throw line (94.4%) is the best since 23-24 (95.8%) in last February's home win over VMI.
- Chattanooga trailed by as many as 12 (55-67, 10:47) in the second half before taking the lead, 85-84, on a Malachi Smith three-point play…out-scored their hosts 30-17 over that 7:00 of game time before falling 8-2 the rest of the way.
- +7 rebounding margin (38-31)…allowed just two offensive rebounds of the 31 missed shot opportunities on the Bulldogs end and they came in the same possession…12-0 advantage in second chance points.
- 16 3pt made by The Citadel (51.6%) are the most by an opponent since 20 by UNC Greensboro on Feb. 21, 2013.
- Just nine turnovers on the afternoon, but Citadel scored 1.7 points per turnovers (15).
- 56 second half points for The Citadel are the most after intermission by an opponent since 58 at Western Carolina on Dec. 3, 2019.
- Best Citadel start to a season since the last pandemic opening 11-0 in 1919-20.

- Jamaal Walker's 17 points were a career high shooting 5-7 overall, 3-5 from 3pt range and 4-4 at the FT line…previous best was 15 at Bellarmine.
- Stefan Kenić tallied 19 points for the second consecutive Saturday before fouling out…that matches his high against a DI opponent.
- Ayeni, A.J. Caldwell and Malachi Smith shared team-high honors with seven rebounds.
- Smith tallied 16 points, five assists and three steals as well…averaged 18.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5.5 apg & 2.5 spg for the week.
- David Jean-Baptiste scored 13 points to stand alone in 26th in career points at Chattanooga with 1,097…No. 25 is Ronrico White '15 who amassed 1,100.
