It's also Military Appreciation Day! All branches of the service will be celebrated throughout but especially during the Marching Mocs halftime extravaganza. A military flyover is scheduled during the national anthem providing the exclamation point to the proceedings that include Humvees at tailgating.
Â
Active and veteran military get a free general admission ticket by showing their military ID or credentials. There are also $5 general admission tickets for their family that can be purchased when picking up the free ticket.
Â
But wait, there's more! The Dr Pepper Toss for Tuition finals are at halftime. The four finalists who worked their way through the first four contests of the season, compete to win $10,000 towards tuition. The runner-up gets a year's worth of Dr Pepper. Runner up? Sounds like the winner to us.
