CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's soccer team opened and closed the non-conference season with one game last week and will now move on to Southern Conference action. The Mocs will host Samford Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the UTC Soccer Complex.
 
At this time, only player guests are allowed to attend the matches. All matches will be aired live on ESPN+ and live stats will be available at GoMocs.com

ARNOLD NAMED SOCON PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior Chloe Arnold was named the Southern Conference women's soccer Player of the Week on Tuesday. Arnold scored the Mocs' game-winning goal when she connected on a penalty kick in the 12^th minute against North Alabama.
 
MOCS SHUTOUT NORTH ALABAMA IN OPENER
The Mocs earned a 2-0 win over North Alabama in the season-opener for Chattanooga. Chloe Arnold scored the game winner on a penalty kick in the 12^th minute and Samantha Shaw put away a pass from Mackenzie Smith in the second half.
 
MOCS PLAY FIRST GAME SINCE 2019
For the first time since November 2019, the Mocs took the pitch for its first competitive match in 16 months. UTC hosted one spring scrimmage and had its lone fall match cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Mocs opened the 2020 (spring '21) season against North Alabama and earned a 2-0 victory.
