40 Mocs Earn Degrees at the Spring Commencement Ceremonies

The Mocs' 2021 Spring/Summer Graduates.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is celebrating its 257th Commencement on campus this week.  More than 1,500 students are expected to graduate in eight ceremonies running from Wednesday to Sunday in McKenzie Arena.

Among those earning their degrees are the 40 student-athletes listed below.  There is representation across most of the Mocs' 16 sports, with 38 finishing their undergraduate careers and two more earning graduate degrees.

"This is a very special group of student-athletes who persevered through some very unique challenges to fulfill their academic goals," stated UTC Vice Chancellor & Director of Athletics Mark Wharton.  "They represented themselves, their teams and the University in exemplary fashion, and we are proud of all of their accomplishment, both in the classroom and in competition."

Also listed are six individuals who are expected to finish their degrees in the summer (denoted with S).  They are all eligible to walk this week with 1-2 classes remaining.

With the NCAA granting student-athletes from spring 2020 through winter 2021 an extra year of eligibility, a number of those listed below will be back to compete again next season.  All totaled, 25 majors are represented by this year's class of graduating student-athletes.
