CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's soccer team will open the 2021 season this Thursday, August 19 at the UTC Sports Complex. The match will kick off at 6:00 p.m. with gates opening one hour prior.

The Mocs were picked to finish fourth in the SoCon Coaches Preseason Poll released this week. Defender Maggie Shaw earned her second straight preseason all-conference selection after being named the league's Defensive Player of the Year last season.
 
This will be the fourth meeting between the Mocs and Blazers. UTC is 1-2 in the series with UAB and won the last meeting in 2015, head coach Gavin McKinney's first season at Chattanooga.
 
Eighteen veterans return to the sidelines for the Mocs with seven newcomers joining the fold.
