CHATTANOOGA---The 18th-ranked Chattanooga Mocs open the season on Thursday, Sept. 2, against No. 20 Austin Peay in the only matchup of ranked FCS combatants in the opening weekend. The premier matchup nationally also has added importance locally with the announcement that it's Hometown Heroes Night at Finley Stadium.

The Mocs are honoring all first responders as well as EMS and medical personnel with a free general admission ticket with the ability to purchase additional GA tickets at half-price for family and friends who join in the celebration. The honorees can get their ticket(s) in advance or day of at the Finley box office. A valid employee ID is required or related verification to take advantage of the offer. 

There are no attendance restrictions for Finley Stadium. Tickets are available as normal with links above to the main ticket pages for football and basketballs as well as the new "Gold Pass" and "Scrappy Switchback" programs. Masks are not required for attendance, but they are encouraged especially in all enclosed areas.
