- Chattanooga improved to 1-1 on the season following the 93-49 win over Oakland City on Thursday… Oakland City remained at 2-0 as this contest was an exhibition for the NAIA Mighty Oaks.
- Chattanooga picked up a home-opening win for the fourth-straight season… victorious in 10 of the last 11 home openers.
- Head coach Dan Earl earned his first win at the helm of the UTC bench after seven seasons as the bench boss at SoCon foe VMI… now 53-45 all-time as a head coach in home games.
- Chattanooga improved to 17-5 in its last 22 non-conference matchups… went 9-0 in 2020-21… 7-4 in 2021-22… now 1-1 in 2022.
